Eligibility Criteria: Court Assistant Jobs at Supreme Court Of India
Court Master (Shorthand):
- Education: Law Degree from a recognized university.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in English shorthand (120 w.p.m).
- Typing speed of 40 w.p.m on the computer.
- Knowledge of computer operations.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in similar roles in Government/PSUs.
- Age: 30-45 years.
Senior Personal Assistant:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in English shorthand (110 w.p.m).
- Typing speed of 40 w.p.m on the computer.
- Age: 18-30 years.
Personal Assistant:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in English shorthand (100 w.p.m).
- Typing speed of 40 w.p.m on the computer.
- Age: 18-30 years.
Note: Relaxation in age as per government norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen.
Selection Process: Court Assistant Jobs at Supreme Court Of India
The selection process includes the following stages:
- Typing Speed Test
- Minimum Speed: 40 words per minute.
- Duration: 10 minutes.
- Shorthand Test (English):
- Speed requirement varies for each post (100-120 w.p.m).
- Transcription time: 45 minutes.
- Written Test:
- Objective questions: General English, Aptitude, Knowledge in Law (for Court Master), and General Knowledge.
- Duration: 1 hour 45 minutes.
- Computer Knowledge Test
- Objective type with basic questions.
- Interview:
- Candidates who clear previous stages will face an interview.
Note: Tests will be conducted at 23 centers across 16 states.
