Eligibility Criteria – Vacancy in Orissa High Court

Age Limit (as on 04.09.2025)

  • Minimum: 21 years
  • Maximum: 32 years
  • Candidate must have been born between 05.09.1993 and 03.09.2004.

Relaxations:

  • SC/ST/SEBC/Women: +5 years
  • PwD: +10 years (if disability 40–50%)
  • PwD + SC/ST/SEBC: up to 15 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: as per Govt. rules

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Must have shorthand speed of 80 w.p.m. and typewriting speed of 40 w.p.m.
  • Knowledge of Computer Applications is required.

Selection Process – Vacancy in Orissa High Court

The selection will be done in three stages:

  1. Qualifying Test in English (100 Marks) – Essay, Translation (Odia ↔ English), Grammar.
    • Passing Marks: 35% (General), 30% (SC/ST).
  2. Computer Application Test (100 Marks, qualifying) – MS Office, MS Access, Internet.
    • Candidate must score 50% or above to qualify.
  3. Skill Test (100 Marks) – Shorthand dictation (400 words at 80 w.p.m.) and typing at 40 w.p.m. on computer.
    • Merit list will be prepared on the basis of Skill Test marks.
